After obtaining an engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines de Nantes, Claire Lairy devoted herself to opera singing. Janine Reiss gives her her very first lessons and directs her in her training. She then joined the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and was awarded the Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste de chant, the school's highest distinction.

Winner of international competitions, Claire won the Rauzan Ségla prize in 2014 at the international competition of Châteaux en Médoc and in 2018, the First Prize at the Béziers competition.

Invited to many festivals, she has given several recitals at the Nancyphonies, at the Musicamparts Festival in Egreville, at the Jubilee in Rueil-Malmaison, at the Salle Cortot (Paris), at the Folies d'Ô in Montpellier, at "Pézenas Enchantée". She is regularly invited by the orchestra of the opera of Massy for exceptional programs. At the Dinard Classical Music Festival, she shared the “Rising Star” concert with the Japanese violinist Reina Shibutani. Invited to the Giverny chamber music festival, she performed there, accompanied by internationally renowned musicians, the 7 romances D. Shostakovich on poems by A.Blok. During recent recitals, Claire was at the Opéra de Massy under the baton of Dominique Rouits as well as at the Opéra Comédie in Montpellier under the direction of Valérie Blanvillain.

Selected among the young talents of the Festival des Envolées Lyriques, she performed Violetta alongside Florian Laconi. Claire was part of the production of the Péniche Opéra, Hansel und Gretel (Taümann and Sandmann). With the orchestra of the Opéra de Massy, she interpreted Suzanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) under the direction of Dominique then Constantin Rouits. The Pézenas Enchantée Festival offered her the role of Sophie (Werther). Recently, Claire was Nanetta (Falstaff) in a staging by Michel Giès of the Paris Opera under the direction of Nicolas Krauze with the Orchester de la nouvelle Europe.

In her desire to democratize opera, in 2017 Claire created the association L'Opéra Buissonnier (www.operapourenfants.com) aimed at introducing the youngest to opera and the lyrical voice. The show "Dream of a Night of Opera" was also presented during the 27th edition of the Dinard Classical Music Festival and is sponsored by Patrick Poivre d'Arvor.
